When is The Joinery available for a tour?
•Open House: Join us for an open house on the second Saturday of each month from 11 AM to 2 PM. Everyone is welcome to tour the facility during this time.
•Drop-In Tours: Most Saturdays, someone is available in the shop. Feel free to stop by and ring the doorbell; if a member is free, they’ll be happy to show you around!
As a member, how do I get help with projects or learn a new skill?
•Online Resources: Our blog and Knowledge Base are filled with videos and articles that can help you get started.
•Community Support: Don’t hesitate to reach out on our community server! Many members are eager to assist, and you’ll likely find someone willing to help.
•Instructor Appointments: For more personalized guidance, you can book an appointment with an instructor for a small fee.
What tools do you have available?

How do I join?
•To become a member, visit The Joinery and click on the “Join Now” button. This will direct you to our membership form, where you’ll provide the necessary information, including your credit card details, and sign the member agreement and waiver.
•After submitting your payment, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to complete the online Safety and Orientation course, which consists of 11 short videos and quizzes.
•Once you successfully complete the course, you can contact us to arrange an in-person meeting for final instructions and to pick up your key.
Do I have to be a member to take a class?
•Most classes are open to the public. Members receive discounts on many courses, and some classes are free for active members.
Do you allow children in the shop?
•Yes, children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. We also have a lounge with a TV where children can relax.
Can my spouse/partner come to The Joinery with me?
•Absolutely! All membership levels, except the Student Membership, include access for your household. The key holder is the responsible member and should always be present.
How do I learn to use a specific tool?
