I’m excited to announce a trio of fresh-class offerings at The Joinery, LLC, perfect for the coming holiday season and beyond. Whether you’re exploring a new craft or ready to commit to a woodworking habit, we’ve got something for you.
🎨 New Glass Classes for November
1. Holiday Fused Glass Art – A special seasonal class where you’ll design and fuse glass pieces that make gorgeous, handmade gifts (or décor) for the holidays.
2. Introduction to Stained Glass – We’re adding this brand-new offering in November, so if you’ve ever been curious about stained glass, this is your chance to get started.
These are listed on our classes page under “Glass Courses.” Available to both members and non-members.
🪵 New Format for the Introduction to Woodworking Class
Our core Beginner Woodworking class has been re-imagined: for November we’re offering the Introduction to Woodworking class in a Saturday-morning, three-week format.
So instead of a one-off session, you’ll meet three consecutive Saturdays—giving you time to absorb the fundamentals, practice, ask questions and build confidence.
Still open spots remain for the original formats too: the weekend version, and the Thursday evening version. Plus our Basic Woodworking class in November has availability as well.

🔔 Final Thoughts
If you’ve been meaning to take a class but haven’t pulled the trigger, now is a great moment. At The Joinery, the goal isn’t just to show up and cut wood or glass—it’s to build confidence, find community, and leave with something you’re proud of. Membership is optional for many classes, so this is a low-barrier way to get involved, try your hand at something new, and see if this place fits your “maker” self.
I hope you’ll join us for one of these upcoming sessions—whether you’re making a fused glass holiday piece with a friend or committing to three weeks of woodworking skills. As always, feel free to reply with any questions or let me know which format you prefer.
See you in the shop,
P.S. If you’re reading this and thinking “I don’t know anything about glass or wood tools,” that’s okay. That’s exactly why we’ve structured these classes this way. Let’s get started together.
