Spring is a great time to start something new — or level up what you already know. We’ve just added new sessions across three of our most popular classes, and spots are still available. Whether you’ve never touched a table saw or you’re ready to tackle your first piece of real furniture, there’s something here for you.
Introduction to Woodworking — Multiple Formats, Multiple Dates
Our flagship course is back with several options in April and May. You’ll build a Shaker-style end table from rough lumber, learning the jointer, planer, table saw, bandsaw, router, and more along the way. All tools and materials are provided — no experience necessary.

- Saturday Morning Series — Starts April 4th | 3 Saturdays, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
- Thursday Evening Series — Starts April 23rd | 5 Thursdays, 5:30–8:00 PM
- Weekend Intensive — May 16–17 | Saturday 9–5, Sunday 9–12
Tuition: $250 members / $350 non-members + $60 materials fee (paid in class)
Tool Tote Class — April 25 & May 23
If you want a fast, hands-on introduction to the shop, this is it. In one Saturday morning session (9 AM–1 PM), you’ll use all the major tools and leave with a finished tool tote you built yourself. It’s a great first class for new members, and an honest confidence-builder for anyone who’s been meaning to get into the shop.
Cost: $100 members / $150 non-members

Make a Whiskey Cabinet — Starting Tuesday, April 21st (New Session!)
Ready to take your skills further? This 6-week intermediate class is where you start making real furniture. You’ll build a Shaker-inspired Whiskey/Tea Wall Cabinet — personalizing the design to make it your own — while mastering the techniques that separate a hobbyist from a craftsman: mortise and tenon joinery, cabinet construction, door fitting, and finishing.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Woodworking (or equivalent experience)
Schedule: Tuesdays, 5:30–8:00 PM | 6 weeks starting Apil 21st Tuition: $350 members / $450 non-members + $60 materials fee (paid in class)
