Introduction to Woodworking Saturday Special— April

Introduction to Woodworking is a 3-week hands-on course for adults who are new to woodworking or returning after a long break.

Schedule: 3 Saturday Mornings — April 19, 26, and May 3rd, 2026 — 8:30 AM–12:30 PM

Over three Saturday Mornings you’ll cover shop safety, tool identification, measuring and marking, hand tool use, and basic joinery — and leave with a finished project you built yourself.

This course satisfies The Joinery’s hands-on safety requirement for new members. No prior experience required. All tools and materials provided. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting sawdust on.

Class size is limited to 6 students.
