Introduction to Woodworking is a two-day hands-on intensive for adults who are new to woodworking or returning after a long break.
Schedule: Saturday, November 14, 2026 — 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, and Sunday, November 15, 2026 — 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Over two days you’ll cover shop safety, tool identification, measuring and marking, hand tool use, and basic joinery — and leave with a finished project you built yourself.
This course satisfies The Joinery’s hands-on safety requirement for new members. No prior experience required. All tools and materials provided. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting sawdust on.
Class size is limited to 6 students.
