Introduction to WoodWorking

Discover the Maker in You

Whether you’re brand new to woodworking or looking to sharpen your skills, this hands-on class is the perfect place to start—or start fresh. Over the course of several sessions, you’ll build a classic Shaker-style end table while learning to safely and confidently use all the core shop tools: the jointer, planer, table saw, bandsaw, router, and more.

For beginners, this class offers a clear, supportive introduction to the craft. For those with some experience, it’s a chance to fill in the gaps, correct bad habits, and learn the kind of shop-tested techniques that take your work to the next level.

More than just a project, this course is about helping you feel at home in the shop—giving you the skills, mindset, and confidence to keep building.

No experience necessary.

As the shop is taking shape, We are working on finalizing the business structure that will ensure we can financially keep the Joinery running. Our main focus is to provide well-maintained tools, an excellent user experience, and build a community. To achieve these goals, we aim to balance sustainability and affordability while providing a quality experience. This means that we must ensure that the number of members and monthly fees are in balance. We want enough members to cover our costs without making the experience too crowded or uncomfortable.
