Major Pricing Update!

As the shop is taking shape, We are working on finalizing the business structure that will ensure we can financially keep the Joinery running. Our main focus is to provide well-maintained tools, an excellent user experience, and build a community. To achieve these goals, we aim to balance sustainability and affordability while providing a quality experience. This means that we must ensure that the number of members and monthly fees are in balance. We want enough members to cover our costs without making the experience too crowded or uncomfortable.

As a member, we want to ensure that your experience with us fits well into your life and is enjoyable and affordable. We understand that committing to a year-long membership can be daunting and inflexible, while a one-month membership may not provide enough time to fully experience all that the club has to offer. That’s why we believe that a three-month commitment strikes the perfect balance. It allows you to fully experience what the club offers while still providing flexibility for any unforeseen changes in your life. With a clear plan and direction, you can make the most of your time as a club member while being adaptable to any shifts in your life. A three-month membership should give you enough time to start and complete any project you have in mind. If you enjoy being a part of our community, you can keep your membership going for as long as you want.

Today, we are announcing our simplified pricing structure – $95.00 per month with an initial 3-month commitment.  For this price, you will still get 24-hour access, use of all tools, on-site small project storage, class discounts, members-only meetups and demonstrations, and access to our online database and discussion forums. There will be a one-time Orientation class for new members for $45.00.

We plan to limit membership numbers to gauge shop usage initially. We will gradually increase membership as we gain more experience. If you’re interested in membership, please pre-register on our website to secure your spot.

On October 1st, we’re hosting a free open house where anyone can visit and meet our team. Keep an eye out for updates on our website and social media.

As we prepare for our grand opening in October, we acknowledge that there may be areas that need improvement. If you pre-register for a three-month membership, we’ll include the month of October for free.
