Lamp

LED Wall Lamp

For many years I have had this idea for a lamp that was basically a flat piece of wood with light seemingly coming out of the middle of it.   I have never really known how to do it, but as we work with more and more LEDs at work, I started seeing how I could make it happen.

So I ordered some parts online and this past weekend I built a prototype.   Right now there is no finish work, rounded or tapered corners, but the idea is there.   I really like the way it looks and the amount of light it produces is just right.

This first version is a wall sconce that will be used in the basement renovation, but I also hope to do a table lamp, floor lamp and desk lamp in the same style.

More to come as I perfect the process and design.
