New Classes on the Bench: Glass, Books, and Open Spots in Woodworking
The class calendar is filling out nicely heading into late spring and early summer, and we’ve got a few new offerings worth flagging — plus some still-open spots in classes you may have been waiting on.
New: Fused Glass in May
We’re branching beyond wood with a Fused Glass class coming in May. If you’ve never worked with glass before, this is a great way to try a new material in a structured, instructor-led setting. Expect to walk out with something you made.
New: Intro to Stained Glass starts in June
A natural companion to the fused glass session — stained glass is a craft that rewards patience and attention to detail in the same way joinery does. If you’ve ever admired a leaded panel and wondered how it’s actually built, this is the class for you.
New: Book Making session in June
This one’s a little different — we’re hosting a book making session that gets into the structure and binding of handmade books. Another craft where small, careful work adds up to something beautiful. Worth a look even if you’re primarily a woodworker; these skills cross-pollinate in interesting ways.
Still open: Introduction to Woodworking — including a single-weekend session
If the standard multi-week format hasn’t fit your schedule, the single-weekend version of Intro to Woodworking is a more concentrated way in. Spots are still available for both formats.
Still open: Tool Tote sessions
The Tool Tote class continues to be one of our favorite first projects — you build a useful thing, you learn the fundamentals, and you take it home. A few seats are still open in upcoming sessions.

See you in the shop.
