The Shop Is Evolving — Come See What’s New
If you haven’t been by the shop in a while, you’re going to notice some changes. We’ve been deep into a major relayout over the past several weeks, and the space is genuinely different — better flow between work areas, more sensible adjacencies between tools that get used together, and a clearer path from rough lumber to finished project.
We’ve also added some new tools to the lineup, with more upgrades and reorganization queued up through spring and into early summer. The Joinery in May is going to look meaningfully different from the Joinery in March, and we’re not done yet.
Members: stop in
If it’s been a few weeks since your last visit, just come by and walk the floor. A lot of “where did this go?” is going to be replaced with “oh, that makes more sense over there.” We’d rather you discover the new layout in person than read about it.
Not a member yet? You’re welcome too
Stop by anytime during open shop hours and there’s a good chance a member will be around to give you a tour and show you what we’re about. If you’d prefer something a bit more structured, our open houses are a great low-pressure way to see the space, meet some of the community, and ask questions.
More to come
This is an ongoing project, not a one-and-done weekend. We’ve got additional tool upgrades and further organization improvements rolling out through the spring and into early summer. Each round makes the shop a little better to work in — safer, more efficient, and more conducive to actually getting projects done.
Visit thejoinery.club for hours, open house dates, and membership info.
See you in the shop.
