The Marc Adams Odyssey (Day 1)

Just started day one at the Marc Adams School of Woodworking.   My son and I are taking the Curved Front Table class with Chris Gochnour.  This is my 10 year going to Marc’s and Drew’s 6th class.  We are very excited to get started on this week long journey.   Below is a short video from day one.

This is our second class with Chris  he is a great instructor and very easy going.   We dove right in this morning getting right to work creating the mortis and tenon joints on the legs and aprons.  Next up was tapering and smoothing the legs.

By the end of the day we had the main section of the table frame complete.

See day 2day 3-4, day 4-5 of this series.

Not too much, but enough to elevate the piece just a little.
