SawStop Sliding Table Upgrade
So I finally updated my SawStop with the sliding table upgrade. I originally installed the table on the end of the left wing. I didn’t like how far from the blade it was so I decided to move it closer by removing the cast iron wing.
I do really like the sliding table, there have been a lot of complaints about no detents at 90 and 45 degrees. I actually find the scale to be very read-able and consistent, so for me the detents are not needed. The other complaint I have heard is the high cost. Although it is a bit pricy, the build quality is excellent and it works very well with my SawStop. I think compared to my other option of buying a Festool MFT, this is a much better solution. A panel saw is out of the question as it takes up too much room in my shop.
Overall, I would highly recommend this upgrade.
